Næst á Dagskrá is a performance group formed in early 2019 around a co-collaborative performance directed by Hákon Örn Helgason at the Icelandic University of the Arts. The name of the group translates directly to: Next up. The performances are durational pieces dealing with the existential mundaneness of everyday life. Alternating between long and silent slow motion chapters and short spurs of high energy happiness, our characters wander around without an endlessly. The group has now produced two performances of Next up: Life and Vacation.
